Pests can make your dog uncomfortable at best and cause death at worst. Heartworm can be deadly, so you must protect against it. Fleas and ticks can cause skin issues and bring diseases into your home. Many products on the market can protect your dog against these pests, but they can also cause severe illnesses in some dogs, including German shepherd dogs. It is imperative that you research any chemicals you use around and on your dog, including those you use to clean your home.
