Rosehall Shepherd’s Education Page
Occasionally, we find some information that we feel may be helpful to you. We will post that on the Rosehall Shepherd’s Education page. While these posts can often pertain to all dogs, they are important for German shepherd dogs.
We can only suggest what you do with your puppy to keep it healthy and hopefully prevent issues later in life. The information we provide is a starting place for your research.
When researching issues:
- Review the pages here carefully.
- You can also review blog posts written by us and guest bloggers on our blog. Most of our blogs provide links in the posts to further information and our sources.
- You can ask your veterinarian. However, keep in mind that veterinarians do not condone certain actions, such as titering instead of yearly vaccinations, feeding raw, and other actions many people take to give their dogs the best life possible.
- Review the good and bad aspects of the subject you are researching so you can come to an informed decision.
Dog health is often subjective. You may find that half of the professionals and people in the dog world believe one thing, and the other half believe in the exact opposite. The more research you do, the more informed you are in your decision on subjective subjects.
